I took my gun and pointed at him, I was about pulling the trigger, when Ann walked in with the coffee.
“What’s going on here?, Simon why are you pointing gun at him?” Ann asked hastily as she dropped the coffee and put her hand akimbo.
I hesitated.
“Your boyfriend is a vampire wolf?” I threw the bombshell.

“Simon, have you gone crazy.” I asked angrily. Wow, I’ve never talk to him in this way before.
“Look Ann, don’t be infatuated by his looks, his face might look innocent but believe me, he’s not who you think he is.” Simon expound.
I looked at Max who was quiet, looking at Simon with dark blue eyes, it’s obvious, he’s so angry. “If there’s a vampire wolf then it’s Kyra, the girl you were flirting with.” I challenged and Simon stood up angrily.
“Ann!!”
“Simon!!”
He glared angrily at me, then at Max. “You are warned.” He said and stormed out of the room.
I looked at Max whose eyes are now plain white. Just white, without an eyeball. He’s so mysterious but I still love him.
“Am sorry Max…” I said and sat beside him in the couch. I put my hands around his shoulder and he leaned his head on my shoulder. We just sat like that without saying a word.
“Max, can we date?” I asked.
“Never.” He said.
I swallowed a lump.
“Why?”
“Cause it’s impossible, you are not meant for me, go look for someone else, not me.” He proffered.
My mouth was agape. Is he saying am not up to his standard.

“Hi Ann.” Kyra said immediately I walked into the class. I rolled my eyes angrily at her. “Why are you so pissed because, I slept with your brother.” She said and I glared angrily at her.
“You are so shameless, you know.” I prompted.
Then her face clouded.
“Do you wanna see the bad part of me.” She asked.
I was about saying something when Alex intervened. “Ann, stay away from this girl, she’s a …” Alex paused as Kyra glared angrily at him.
Alex shrugged and dragged me along with him.
We got to the school garden and he looked intently at me. “Can we date?” He asked, quite too sudden.
No one has ever asked me out before.
My body shuddered. “I…i…” Then he kissed me making my whole body go limp.
This is obviously my first kiss.
He withdrew and cupped my face with his palm.
“I love you Anna.” He said and was about kissing me again when we heard the deep-throat sound of a wild animal….probably wolf.
We turned to see Max looking at us with an expression which shows that he has been beclouded by the green Dragon of jealousy.
“Max…” I exclaimed as his eyes blazed with fury.
My body shook.
“I hate you Ann, you are a cheat.” Max cried out and started sprinting out.
Why is he jealous, I thought am not meant for him.
“Maxxx!!!” I called running after him, leaving Alex behind.
Max ran out of the school gate and entered the Bush. I followed.
“C’mon Max, stop .” I cried as i followed him.
“I love you Max.” I said and he stopped at his track.
“Don’t you ever say that again.” His voice came in a roar which was accompanied by thunderstorm and heavy downpour of rain.
He started walking fast, far away. I followed him, not minding the dept of forest we’ve gone.
Until we got to an open place covered with snow. I’ve never seen this place before.
The blizzard was so heavy that I can barely see Max. The thunderstorm shook the earth while The sky released the snow tediously. The wind was vehement, it caressed the earth so roughly. The tornado spun the snowflakes on the atmosphere, making everywhere foggy.
“Go away Ann…here is not meant for human.” Max voice roared again and he dragged me out of the turning tornado.
“Max…” I looked at him, he’s eyes were now like a shimmering white which reminded me of a cartoon [Avatar].
“Ann…Go away, you won’t survive hear.”
It seems his voice was like thunder.
“I love you Max, Alex is just a…” A heavy wind pushed me to the floor. The falling snows covered the atmosphere that I can hardly see Max.
“You don’t love me Ann, go back.” Max warned.
“I love you.” I announced louder.
“Ann stop it….you don’t love …” A big black panther jumped on Max body.
My breath seized. The panther is the correct description for the word. “ENORMOUS.” Max fell to the floor with great thud. Then the panther started walking towards me.
“Max help….” I cried as the panther leapt towards me. But Max quickly turned into a wolf. A big black wolf. The same strange wolf who saved me. The same wolf whom I saved from the claws of death.
My brother’s theory is right, Max is a wolf. I’ve been in love with a wolf. No wonder he’s so mysterious, acts strange, and he’s the same wolf who killed that teacher. The teacher who embarrassed him.
I’ve been in love with a murderer. Max is a murderer.

The fight became tough, a ferocious wolf vs a panther.
A battle of tooth against claws. Speed against size. A battle of death.
I stood at a corner watching the fight under the blizzardous atmosphere. Though, the environment was foggy, but I can still see that the panther was beating the hell out of the wolf. Well Panthers have more advantage than wolves.
Max ran to me and I saw his body filled with so much bruises. The panther leapt and grabbed his legs. He fell to the ground while looking at me in a way which says. “Save-me-Anna.”
But how can I save him, he’s a wolf am a human. Am strengthless.
He kept looking at me pleadingly and I kept wondering what to do.
“Shoo…leave him..” I shooed the panther and the panther left MAX and jumped to me and bite me heavily on my shoulder, I yelped aloud.
“Ann…” Max cried out, still in a wolf form.
Then he stood up like a man, but he still have the features of a wolf.
He ran to me and bite me hard on my neck, sucking out blood. I cried aloud as he kept sucking. Then he became more large, the bruises healed, he looked more energetic. Then he turned back into a full main wolf and gave the panther a thorough beating.
I kept crying aloud as more blood drained from my arm.
Surprisingly, the panther ran. And it was just me and Max. He breathed heavily and looked at me. His body was still in wolf form but he has the face of human and also stood like a man.
“Now you’ve known who I am. Do you still love me?” His voice was calm but menacing.
I couldn’t answer, tears poured down my eyes as I held my bleeding shoulder.
His eyes turned white like the sun. “Do you still love me?” He asked again, furiously, and the thunder amplified his voice. He walked to me and held my upper arm.
“I repeat, do you still love me?” He roared again.
I let out a small cry. “I…i…” Then I heard a gun shot behind, another followed. Then the sounds of gunshots filled the atmosphere.
Max eyes widened.
“I love you Anna…” He said his last words, then he fell to the floor, and die.
“Are you okay, Ann.” Simon asked rushing in with his colleagues with their guns.
And the world revolved around me. I tried waking up from the dream, but it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. Max is dead.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
